Baptism Prep Catechetical Team

If you are looking for a way to get involved at St. Mary’s in a ministry that is rewarding and requires only 2-4 hours of your time per year, please consider joining St. Mary Baptism Prep Catechetical Team.  Our team currently consists of volunteers who share their faith and witness to parents on the importance of family life, share the message of God’s love, and how Jesus initiated the Sacraments when He lived here on earth.  

Baptismal classes are offered each month on the 1st Sunday @ 9:15 AM and the 3rd Monday @ 7:00 PM.   There is no special training necessary in order to become a Baptism Prep Catechist.  The training of parents will be one-on-one while working with an experienced catechist.
